Our mission

is to respond to current educational research, which indicates the need and benefits of diverse representation in curriculum, by developing and providing educators a curriculum library that includes curricular materials that have a focus on diverse representation of black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+, and other underrepresented communities, as well as representation of women and persons with disabilities. These materials will be used by educators to enhance, rework, and supplement their curriculum to provide an inclusive and holistic educational experience to all students, foster a sense of value in their students, and to provide an opportunity for students to learn about their own cultures, and the contributions they have made, to allow students from diverse communities to see themselves represented. Additionally, this resource will encourage a sense of inclusivity for all, while challenging stereotypes about groups and communities, ultimately enhancing and enriching the educational experiences of the collective student body.

Our goal

is to develop a freely accessible library of curriculum resources that provides equitable, diverse, and inclusive representation for educators to support all students’ education.

Our purpose

is to teach and provide multiple exemplars of different communities throughout the curriculum, give a broader and more inclusive world history and story to all students, and to foster a sense of pride in BIPOC students and those of other minority communities by allowing them to see the contributions their cultures and communities have made to our world community and knowledge.

We will achieve this by

creating an education community. Teachers can submit their educational materials to the library to make them accessible to teachers across the country. Together we will develop a library that tells all of our stories. The curriculum library will be freely accessible and will require contribution from educators across the country.
